Korean Fever 1
I’ve been crazy about Korean Entertainment for almost a year. Korean TV shows I’ve seen is countless. I believe there are lots of people like me in Taiwan. Because of a significantly increased popularity of South Korea culture in Taiwan in these 2 years (even around the world). People in Taiwan have already been crazy about Korean Dramas before this “Korean Fever”. Now when you turn on the TV, there are not just dramas, also TV shows and music programs. This “Korean Fever” is not just about entertainment and pop music now, also including fashion, cuisine, culture, travel and language.
This Korean Fever”s influence is most visible in Asia. Their music is like everywhere, so I want to share something about their singers, we so called “Idol Group”(girls version).
First, I have to say I’m not professional, I just share my personal opinions. I believe there are a lot to talk about, but I’ll only write 2 articles. They are Boys and Girls separately. : )
No matter boy or girl group, Idol groups are increasing crazily. If I don’t surf the Internet every day, I might miss something, and even few days later I see a group which I don’t know or have never heard before performing in music programs. What made them so popular? I think the first is music, when you listen to the song once, the melody will be always in your mind, and makes you want to listen over and over again. The second is dance move, their dance is cool and their live performances are incredibly perfect and ordered. Third, no matter boys or girls, everyone has good looks. Finally, I’m not sure if it’s count, because few of them are not really young. It is Invincible Youth! Most of them are young and talented!
Every group has their own characteristics, but honestly most of their music don’t have, because they are all pop music. I think 2NE1 is an exception, they have their own music style, and I also think their dressing style is the coolest and boldest. Especially the leader, CL.
They’re founded in 2009. Their first studio and full length album, To Anyone, was slated for release on September, 2010 and was a big success.
The other group I want to share is “4minute”. They have released various singles and EPs since their founding in 2009.
I noticed them because I found all members are beautiful and cute. (This thought is kind of selfish 
) And they got good style.
Afterwards, maybe I want to share something about their fashion, or style I really like. And even culture I’ve discovered from TV shows or dramas. I’m crazy about the whole thing about this Korean Fever, but I still have a lot to observe for writing an article!
